CCTV appeal following thefts from store in Bournemouth

Officers investigating two thefts from a supermarket in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

It was reported that at around 2pm on Friday 22 April 2022 a man entered the Waitrose store in Wimborne Road in Winton and made off without paying for six bottles of alcohol. It was reported that the same man attended the location again at around 11am on Monday 9 May 2022 and stole a further 12 bottles of alcohol.

The total value of the items stolen is £480.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these thefts and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect that I am now issuing to the public in the hope that someone will recognise him.
