Witness appeal following serious injury collision in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.25am on Saturday 14 May 2022 of a collision involving a grey Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian in Branksome Wood Road at the junction with Leven Avenue.
The pedestrian – a local woman aged in her 20s – sustained fractures to both legs and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The male driver of the car was uninjured.
Police Constable Ben Baxter, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from any residents or motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
