Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

The Council is installing Daily Mile tracks, prioritising wards with both large populations of ethnically diverse communities, low levels of physical activity and in line with our City of Nature Plan (https://naturallybirmingham.org/birmingham-city-of-nature-delivery-framework/).

This includes:

• Daily Mile trail marker design and installation
• Daily Mile markings
• Placards

This work will be undertaken in partnership with Public Health, Parks and the City of Nature Alliance (https://naturallybirmingham.org/birmingham-city-of-nature-alliance/) delivering health and wellbeing programming in local parks and green spaces.

The Parks where Daily Mile Tracks are to be installed are as below:

• Nechells- Bloomsbury Park
• Aston – Philip St
• Bordesley and Highgate - Highgate Park
