Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bournemouth

Officers investigating an assault at a bar in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 2.15am on Sunday 23 January 2022 that an altercation had occurred involving two men in a smoking area at Bar So in Exeter Road.

During the incident one of the men, aged in his 20s sustained an injury to his ear.

Police Staff Investigator Steve White, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and have now obtained full details from the victim.

“I appreciate the incident was some time ago, but I understand there were a number of people in the area at the time and I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened to please make contact with us.”
