Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 22 Nov 2021

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Apologies for the delay in getting this report finished off and posted out.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (16 – 22 Nov 2021). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

  • 19 Nov (03:05 - 03:15). Gilbert Road. Suspect has tried the door handle of victim’s garage.
  • 20 Nov (17:30). James Road. Three males have entered the address by forcing the front door, they have conducted an untidy search of the address and stolen costume jewellery.
  • 21 Nov (17:30 - 19:00). Caesars Camp Road. Attempted entrance from side door, entry then gained through downstairs rear window by using force on frame. Search of property however nothing taken. Thieves possibly spooked by the occupant.
  • 21 Nov (21:40) – 22 Nov (12:00). Ballard Road. No items taken.

To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team, there were 98 new incidents/occurrences being looked into during this period. A summary of these is given below along with some accompanying notes later;

Assault On Police (2), Burglary Residential (4), Child Protection Incident (7), Community Protection Warning (1), Concern For Safety (3), Crime Other (3), Crime Public Order (5), Crime Vehicle (2), Criminal Damage (3), Custody Admin (1), Domestic Incident (7),  Drugs (3), DVPN (1), Fraud Being Investigated (1), Fraud Vulnerable Victim (1), Master Occurrence (1), Missing Person – High Risk (1), Missing Person - Low Risk (1), Not A Crime (1), Prescribed Limit Offence (1), Problem Solving (1), Public Order (2), Rape/Serious Sexual offence (2), Road (1), Road Related Offence (3), Suspicious Incident (2), Theft (10), Violent Crime Other (5), Violent Crime Public Place (4), Violent Domestic (7), Vulnerable Adult Incident (9).

Crime Vehicle; inc 18 Nov. Edward Avenue - theft of number plates from a white 11-plate Range Rover (Camberley).

Fraud Vulnerable Victim; vulnerable elderly female has had an unknown male try to persuade her to transfer large sums of money at the bank, however the bank have identified the risk and prevented this before contacting police.

Theft; inc report of the theft of a bike (Enduro Expert mountain bike) from Gilbert Road (Camberley)
