Crime Report for 30th  Nov

Dear Citizen

Princes Elizabeth Way, Edward Wilson House, reported at 10.10pm 25th Nov that entry had been gained to a ground floor flat by two males who were disturbed by the flat owner returning. Males were in the process of stealing bottles of alcohol which they left behind as they fled via a bedroom window. Males desc. as one wearing a black hoody and one wearing a grey hoody. Nothing reported stolen. Inc. 416 25-11-2021 Hesters Way

Malvern Place, reported at 6.55pm 27th Nov that an offender had been disturbed having entered a flat whilst the owner was taking out rubbish. Male desc as being 5ft 9 young slim build wearing a mask last seen running towards the top  of Montpellier. A brown Asprey box containing jewellery had been stolen from a bedroom dressing table. Thefts from Motor vehicles
Townsend Street, overnight of the 26th 27th Nov, car parked on roadside attacked by smashing rear passenger side window. Battery power tools and batteries stolen. Inc. 127  27-11-2021 St Pauls

St Pauls Street South, overnight 26th 27th Nov car parked on road side attacked by smashing passenger window. Coin purse containing small amount I cash stolen. Inc. 289 27-11-2021   St Pauls

Sydenham Villas Road, between 2pm 28th & 10.30am 29th Nov, an insecure car was entered and searched through with a driving licence and games console being stolen. Inc. 12 29-11-2021 Fairview.

In these darker evenings the use of timer switches on lights and radios will give the impression that he house is occupied whilst you are out. Always lock all doors and windows and do not leave keys in locks next to glass which when smashed allows access to the keys. If you have an alarm please set it when you leave the house.

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually secured. Do not leave valuable property on view, particularly Christmas presents, in unattended vehicles.
