Thefts from Motor Vehicles 19th Nov.

Dear   Citizen

The following thefts from motor vehicles have been reported:-
  • Albemarle Gate, between 6pm 7th Nov & 5pm 13th Nov car entered via unknown means with a paddle board being stolen from the boot. Inc. 439 13-11-2021 Prestbury
  • Swindon Road near to Baker Street between 10.30am – 6.20pm 13th Nov. Rear window smashed on a car offender reached in and stole a radio from the boot area. Offender was a young boy who fled the scene on a bike. Inc. 474 13-11-2021 St Pauls
  • Stanwick Gardens, reported at 5.44am 14th Nov that a male had just smashed a window on a parked car. Centre console opened but nothing reported stolen. Offender seen to ride away on a black cycle towards Swindon Road. Inc. 124 14-11-2021 Swindon Village
  • Stanwick Gardens between 4am & 9.30am 14th Nov a second vehicle was attacked by removing the driver’s side window without breaking it. Vehicle searched with nothing reported stolen. Inc. 193 14-11-2021 Swindon Village
  • Alstone Lane, between 4pm 12th & 10am 14th Nov. parts of nearside wing mirror carefully removed presumably to be used as spares for another vehicle. Inc. 312 15-11-2021 St Marks.
  • Mead Road, overnight of the 15th 16th  Nov catalytic converter cut off and stolen from Honda Jazz. Inc. 151 16-11-2021 Leckhampton
  • St Georges Road near to Overton Road, reported at 9.15pm 16th Nov that a window had been smashed on a car and the alarm activated. Vehicle searched but nothing reported stolen. Inc. 10 17-11-2021 Town Centre
  • Suffolk Square, between 11.40 -11.50am offender seen to attempt to enter works van by drilling the lock. Offender disturbed and fled the scene with only damage caused. Inc 142 17-11-2021 Town Centre
  • Montpellier Spa Road, between 4pm 17th & 9am 18th Nov a car was entered via unknown means with a large quantity of jewellery stolen wrapped in a Waitrose carrier bag. Inc. 85 18-11-2021 Town Centre
Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure it is actually secure. Do not leave valuable property in unattended vehicles even in the boot area.
