Thefts from Motor Vehicles 11th Nov.

Dear  Citizen

The following thefts from motor vehicles have been reported:-
  • Albermarle Gate, between 12md & 12.50pm 1st Nov. a car parked in the road, rear window smashed – handbag containing bank cards stolen. Cards used locally. Inc. 189 01-1-21 Pprestbury
  • Priory Street, overnight 1st 2nd Nov, car entered via unknown means and searched through all compartments. Nothing reported stolen. Inc. 83 02-11-21 Fairview
  • Bethesda Street, overnight 2nd 3rd Nov car boot entered via unknown means with a battery drill/screw driver and a Rock Shock suspension unit for a mountain bike stolen. Inc. 35 03-112021 Tivoli
  • Oxford Street, overnight 5th 6th Nov car entered via unknown means and searched through. Tom Tom Sat Nav unit stolen from glove box. Inc. 138 06-11-2021 Fairview
  • Lansdown Crescent, overnight 5th 6th Nov a van was entered by forcing rear door locks. Two angle grinders stolen from inside. Inc. 179 06-11-2021 Lansdown
  • Upper Norwood Street, overnight of the 7th 8th Nov, a car was entered via unknown means and searched with two bags of shoes, a coat and sunglasses being stolen. Inc. 55 08-11-2021 Tivoli
  • College Road, 12mn – 7am 7th Nov, insecure car entered and searched through. Parking change stolen from glove box and two bespoke sample bags marked Conservatory Blinds Limited stolen. Inc. 175 08-11-2021 Tivoli.
Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure it is actually secure. Bank cards can now be used for transaction of up to £100 with no further security checks so do not leave them in unattended vehicles.
