Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 07 Nov 2021

Dear Surrey Heath members.
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (26 Oct – 07 Nov 2021).
Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
28 Oct (18:45 - 18:50). Frimley Road. 2 males have smashed the back door of the property after gaining access via the back garden via the garden of another property. Males have fled when shouted at by homeowner. Property may have been targeted by suspects thinking it to be empty as all lights were off.
30 Oct (19:30) - 31 Oct (09:19). Southwell Park Road. 3 male suspects attended address and when 1st victim answers front door is assaulted by the suspects whom are in possession of knives. During the course of the assault property is removed from the victim. Suspects leave 1st victim making their way to first floor bedsit. 2nd victim hears commotion and opens bedsit door to be assaulted by suspects. Suspects enter and demand recently purchased cannabis. 2nd victim surrenders cannabis only to receive a blow to the head causing injuries. Victim escapes and attends neighbouring premises where police are called and attend.
05 Nov (17:30 - 21:30). RoundWay. Patio door broken to gain access to a property, untidy search of the house but no property taken.
05 Nov (12:00 - 21:30). Roundway. Rear patio doors have been smashed to gain entry and untidy search of upstairs bedrooms.
03 Nov (13:15). Chertsey Road. Suspect has entered the property without permission while victim was in custody taking items belonging to the victim.

Burglary Business & Community; Pennyhill Park Hotel. Makita leaf blower stolen from shed in works area of the grounds (Bagshot).
Crime Other; inc 27 Oct (01:49) Lynwood Drive report of vehicle interference (Mytchett), male and female attempted to pay with fake £50 note at post office (Mytchett), during a planned warrant at an address male has been found paying for sexual services (Camberley), victim assaulted during a road rage incident (Frimley).
26 Oct (22:20) Crawley Ridge. Inft reporting seeing a male trying to open the inft’s car door.(Camberley).
30 Oct (01:25) Upper College Ride. Suspect has used unknown means to slash front and passenger side tyres of victim's motor vehicle (Camberley).
30 Oct (20:30 - 21:45) Alexandra Avenue. Grey 14 plate Mercedes C class vehicle reported missing/stolen after being parked in residential road (Camberley).
04 Nov (8:00) - 05 Nov (09:30) Wilcot Close. 15 plate Toyota Auris parked in driveway under a car port has had catalytic converter stolen (Bisley).
05 Nov (17:00) - 06 Nov (08:05) Portesbery Rd. Criminal damage to wing mirror of vehicle parked overnight in residents car park (Camberley)
Criminal Damage; inc 23 Oct (00:00)- 26 Oct (18:46) Chapel lane - arson to council bench (Bagshot), unknown persons have attended a car park on a residential street outside a block of flats and caused damage to vehicle parked there (Camberley), following road rage incident victim has had an unknown object thrown at the back of the vehicle which has caused damage to the vehicle (Lightwater), 29 Oct (21:00) - 30 Oct (08:30) Caesars Camp Road. Rear window on car has been smashed overnight by suspect who had been throwing stones. Neighbour's car was also reported damaged in the same incident (Camberley), 30 Oct (20:00) - 31 Oct (07:45) glass panels to automatic doors at Country Park smashed (Lightwater).
Drug Seizure; inc St. Catherines Road. Informant reported what they thought looked like cannabis plants in a black bag next to a bin. Police attended and collected (Frimley).
Drugs; inc male found by police sat on a bench in the Watchetts Rec park smoking a joint containing cannabis during time that children are walking home from school (Camberley), male seen leaving a parked vehicle and running from the area. Male found and admitted to having cannabis on him (Camberley), after stopping male in a motor vehicle he was found in possession of a small amount of cocaine (Camberley).
Drunk/Drug In Charge; drug drive – cannabis (Camberley), male has tested positive for cannabis after driving his motor vehicle and being involved in an RTC (Camberley), male stopped as driver of a motor vehicle and blew 91 at the roadside (Camberley), suspect stopped for traffic offence and subsequently failed a preliminary roadside drug saliva test for cannabis and was arrested (Chobham).
Fraud Being Investigated; inc victim believes that his card has been cloned as there was a transaction at a pub he did not make and the pub have CCTV of this transaction being made (Bagshot).
Fraud Vulnerable Victim; inc vulnerable male has given out bank card details to seller linked via Amazon and has paid over £2000 (Camberley).
Prescribed Limit Offence; vehicle stopped owing to excess speed - driver failed roadside breath test and lower reading obtained in custody of 56 (Bagshot), drink drive RTC (Blackwater), driver reported for no insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence (Camberley).
Suspicious Incident; inc male has run from police and left what is believed to be a stolen bike - orange mountain bike type (Camberley), Sandringham Way - suspicious male in hi-viz has approached property to "test drains", water board spoken to and not from them (Frimley).
Theft; inc 27 Oct (16:00 - 18:00) Goldney Road. Metal gates stolen (Camberley), Deepcut Bridge Rd - Diazepam medication stolen from vehicle (Deepcut), 31 Oct (21:30-21:35) Martindale Avenue. Halloween decoration in the form of a metal arch was knocked over and destroyed, and three pumpkins containing electric tea lights were stolen from a display (Camberley), 28 Oct (16:00- 23:55) Fairoaks Airport. Trade plates (licence number 48411) were removed from the office by person(s) unknown (Chobham), theft of Silver Ford Mondeo - vehicle has been recovered - involved in a pursuit (Frimley).
Theft – Of Catalytic Converter;
03 Nov (18:00) - 04 Nov (16:00) Cumberland Rd. Theft of cat converter from 67 plate Toyota Yaris (Camberley).
06 Nov (19:30) - 07 Nov (09:45) Holly Hedge Rd. Catalytic converter has been removed and stolen overnight whilst 20 plate Toyota Prius was parked on driveway (Frimley).
