With the clocks going back it is more obvious than ever that a house is not occupied in the late afternoons and early evenings when the occupants are still at work as well as at other times when no one is at home. Employ timer switches to activate lights and radios and simulated TV’s to give the impression that someone is at home.
If you have an alarm, please remember to set it when you leave home.
Where ever possible prevent access to the rear of your property by locking side gates and prevent access over them.
Consider the use of movement sensor security lighting and CCTV to cover vulnerable areas such as rear patio windows, flat roofs and sheds.
