Sec 59 issued to Rider of a Moped used in New Waltham

Alert message sent 13/10/2021 19:15:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

Good News!

Dear Resident,

On Saturday 25th September 2021 we received two separate reports of a riders riding mopeds in an anti-social behaviour (ASB) on ST CLEMENTS WAY in NEW WALTHAM.

As a result of the vigilance of residents, I am happy to report that one rider has been identified and a Sec 59 warning has been issued. This warning is in place for one year and if the rider, rides another moped in an anti-social behaviour then that moped will be seized, even if that vehicle does not have a warning on it.

The Sec 59 warning is on both the vehicle and the rider.

I hope this provides you with confidence that your local policing team will act on all information/intelligence that you provide.

In relation to the other moped, I have identified the other moped I am waiting for an enquiry to be returned before I will issue another Sec 59 Warning.

Help me to help you to make our areas a good and safe place to live and work.

Kind Regards

Dave
Cleethorpes Policing Team
