After Dark campaign

Alert message sent 13/10/2021 11:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

Dear all,

Police Scotland are currently running the 'After Dark' campaign between 11-25th of October 2021.  As we are approaching the busy festive period and experiencing darker nights, we are asking members of the public to review the security of their properties.

I am aware that you have recently received a Home security guide in relation to this campaign from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland. Please also see attached advice on shed, garage and bike security.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously near to your property or vehicle please contact the police immediately with as detailed a description as possible of any person or vehicle involved.  Please call 999 if an emergency and urgent police assistance is required or 101 to report the matter to the police.

Kind Regards
