Halloween and Firework Safety with St Wulstans

Alert message sent 12/10/2021 18:11:00

Information sent on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary

This afternoon I was kindly invited into St Wulstan's RC Primary School in Great Harwood to discuss with pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 the upcoming events of Halloween and Bonfire Night. The dangers of the events were highlighted to the children and they were taught about actions they can take to be safer.

Halloween and Bonfire Night are extremely busy evenings for Hyndburn Police, the fire service and hospitals and we hope that the information we provided to the children today will make some difference to ensure they enjoy themselves in a safe way.

Please if anyone wishes for some advice surrounding Halloween or Bonfire Night do not hesitate in responding to this post.

Stay Safe
