Alert message sent 10/10/2021 17:20:00

Information sent on behalf of South Yorkshire Police

Protecting the public and keeping the roads of Parson Cross, Southey, Fox Hill and Longley safe for everyone will always remain one of our priorities and removing uninsured and disqualified drivers from our roads helps to do just that. This is why we try to take these irresponsible drivers off the road whenever we can. That was the case again last night in Fox Hill when the 36 year old driver of this Audi A4 tried to lie his way out of a court date and the loss of his car.

We have removed hundreds of vehicles over the last few years and processed many illegal drivers that put you all at risk. The roads look and feel safer, however we know there is still work to do. As always - if you know what we need to know then please get in touch and we will do the rest.

For those still willing to take the risk – it’s simply a matter of time.
