Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth town centre are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.
At around 3am on Saturday 11 September 2021 the victim, a man aged in his 30s, was walking down Old Christchurch Road when he was approached by a group of men and women and assaulted.
He was reportedly punched, causing him to become unconscious, and then kicked whilst on the floor.
The victim sustained a head injury that required hospital treatment.
Officers attended and carried out searches in the area, but the offender was not located.
Police Constable Jack Cornick, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this unprovoked assault and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect through our enquiries.
“I appreciate they are not the best quality images, but I am hoping someone is still able to recognise the man pictured and would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please come forward.”
