Alert message sent 02/09/2021 21:59:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a house on Southlynn Crescent, close to its junction with Herbert Close Bracknell.
Between 12.00 and 13.15hrs on Monday 23 August 2021 offenders after gaining access via a side alley and through a side gate, forced a rear door open with an unknown tool and entered a house whilst the occupants were out.
An untidy search was made throughout the house, and the offenders made off with a bag containing jewellery and identity documents.
Investigator  TDC 2692 Alexandra Slyfield of the Priority Crime Investigation team based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seeing or hearing anything suspicious in the area at the relevant time, or may have security CCTV recordings or other information to report their information On Line via the Thames Valley Police website, or call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43210378349.
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.

For advice on how to keep your home safe, visit the Thames Valley Police website.

Neighbours looking out for each other, and been prepared to report suspicious activity also helps deter offenders and reduce crime. If you want to find out if there is already a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in your area, or you’d like to find out more, check out their site www.ourwatch.org.uk
