Lower Valley covers Brighouse, Elland, Greetland, Hipperholme Lightcliffe, Northowram, Rastrick, Shelf and Stainland

For the week 09 to 15 August

Burglary Residential – 5
Theft from motor vehicle – 7
Theft of motor vehicle - 3

Burglary residential
House entered after side door forced. Believed no property taken. Rastrick
Unlocked shed entered, and tools taken - Shelf
House entered after blow torch used on door/lock. Believed no property taken -  Elland
Unlocked shed entered, and Honda motorcycle taken -  Brighouse
Padlock forced on shed and entry gained. Believed no property taken.  Elland

Theft from motor vehicle
Attempt made to gain entry to van by using crowbar or similar but no entry gained – Elland
Vehicle entered and property stolen from two vehicles. – Greetland – 42 year old male has been arrested and charged.
Catalytic converter removed from vehicle – Elland
Aerial removed from vehicle and damaged caused to bonnet after males run over it – Elland
Vehicle entered and property stolen from the boot – Elland
Curtain side cut on trailer and property stolen - Brighouse

Theft of motor vehicle
Range Rover taken by unknown means  - Greetland  Vehicle has been recovered.
Range Rover Sport taken by unknown means – Brighouse. Vehicle has been recovered
Yamaha NXC motor scooter taken - Elland
