Upper Valley Priorities

Following the Safer Cleaner Greener meeting on Monday 19 July , 2021, the local priorities have been set as :-

Tackle inconsiderate parking and ASB around local beauty spots, including Lumb Falls & Gadding’s Dam
We will work with partners to address local community concerns around ASB, Litter and inconsiderate parking. This will include exploring traffic regulation restrictions, patrols and using ASB powers to target offenders.

Road Safety throughout the Upper Valley.
We will deploy Operation Hawmill in areas of community concern, deploy NPT and SID across the area and work with partners through the Calderdale safer roads group.

ASB patrols and disruption of perceived street dealing in Mytholmroyd
NPT to provide targeted patrols in Mytholmroyd focusing on the Memorial Gardens and areas around Sainsburys, in the evening in an attempt to reduce ASB issues in the town. Community Safety Wardens to be asked to support with patrols and CCTV coverage as appropriate

Local Priorities 

In Calderdale local partnership priorities are set at the six weekly Safer, Cleaner, Greener meeting. This meeting brings partners from Police, Fire, Health, Calderdale Council and local councillors, together to tackle local issues.

Each Safer Cleaner Greener area has a lead Police Sergeant and Police Officer who leads on problem solving. They are supported by other officers, PCSO's Police Staff and partnership resources.
