Firstly, I must apologise for the quality of the content of the messages below, this is due to me not having the usual access to crime reports as I am having to work away from the office. It is hoped that normal service will resume soon.
Reported loose animals on the highway this week is 3, all horses.

Please check your boundary hedges and fences to include, especially those that border Highways and Railways at least once every day.

Crime and incident update If you have any evidence, no matter how small, on any of the crimes listed below, please call it in on the non-emergency number 101 and quote the reference number and date as given to the left of the report, of for that matter any other crime.

We are still receiving many calls each week concerning Poaching and/or Hare Coursing, far too many to report on without getting boring, anyone who suspects illegal poaching or hare coursing is taking place, please call Sussex Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency, i.e. poaching or hare coursing is occurring in front of you there and then.


Monday 21st 2021 to Sunday 27th June 2021

HERITAGE.  Criminal Damage, Old Catholic Church Holy Family, Lancing, youths have been causing damage to the old flint wall in the garden area

HERITAGE. Burglary, St Joseph’s Church, Liitlehampton, between 1100 and 1920hrs 21/06/2021 the side door to the Church has been forced allowing entry and items to be stolen.

A silver Land Rover Discovery on an 07 plate was stolen from Bognor Regis.

A farm in the Hartling area of Chichester has been forcefully entered and diesel was pumped out of a storage tank.

An outbuilding to a farm in the Barcombe area was broke into.

Mid Sussex
11 boilers have been stolen from a new build site in the Slaugham. They are valued at £11,000.00.

A storage container on a farm in Ewehurst, Robertsbridge has been broke into, nothing seems to be missing.

HERITAGE.  Criminal Damage, St Johns Church, Polegate, two occasions of criminal damage, 08th June, six small panes of glass broken and then again on the 23rd June a further 3 panes broken.

HERITAGE. St Marys Church, Burglary, Uckfield, collection box stolen, damage to wall and plaster, books thrown, damage amounting up to £500.00.

An outbuilding to a farm in Danehill was forcefully entered. Nothing appears to be missing.
