Teenager assaulted in Alvaston Park

We are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted in a park in Derby.

On Sunday 23 May at around 4.30pm a boy was in Alvaston Park on Meadow Lane, Alvaston near to the BMX track waiting for a friend.

He was approached by three teenagers, who pushed him off his bike and assaulted him. All three of the boys were wearing balaclavas.

They then ran off across the park.

We would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the attack, in particular a man who helped the boy afterwards.
