Information sent on behalf of South Yorkshire Police

The Parson Cross 'Interactive Bobbies on The Beat' yesterday took to the community streets covering 12 miles of Parson Cross, Fox Hill and Southey Green. Between 3pm and 9pm PS1123 Scott Sarson and PC1506 Paul Ward spent the shift engaging with our community. Updating our location every 30 minutes on our social media platforms, the map shows the route we patrolled through the shift following calls from the public.

Not a team to turn our backs on opportunities, we also managed to recover the pictured vehicles that were found causing an obstruction (Donovan Road) and being driven with no insurance and no driver’s licence (Halifax Road).

You are starting to see much more ‘Interactive Bobbies on The Beat' within Parson Cross, Southey, Fox Hill and Longley and we hope this will reassure our community. Please keep an eye on this page for updates.

Thanks to all that took the time to stop and speak to us and call us.
