Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good morning Residents of Bilston,
This week is County Lines Intensification Week, it started on the 17th and will last until the 23rd. For those who don’t know, County Lines is where vulnerable people and children are used to transport illegal drugs. They are often pressured, coerced, or threatened to do so. Buses, trams and trains are often used by those who take part in County Lines. During the week, the Bilston Neighbourhood team will be patrolling certain areas of the community such as tram lines, schools and care homes to raise awareness. If you know of anyone that is taking part in County Lines, or believe someone is being coerced into doing so, please call 101 or go to the https://west-midlands.police.uk/ and speak with member of the contact team via the live chat.
