ASB UPDATE

Alert message sent 07/04/2021 18:32:00

Information sent on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary

Hi All,

Following the Facebook post yesterday with regard to the police being made of reports of Damage and ASB in the Briercliffe area on Friday evening. Myself and my colleague PCSO 7201 were out on patrol Saturday evening when we have come across a fire being started on the Grass area at the bottom of the fields behind the park at the end of Queen street Briercliffe. A group of youths have on seeing us made off from the location but some have returned and spoken to police and by capturing them on bodycam we have captured some stills of the youths involved which is going to be passed to the local schools to enable us to be able to identify those youths involved.
The fire service attended and put out the fire and made it safe.
If you see anymore ASB or large groups causing issues then please on 101 or 999 and get the incident logged.

Thanks
PCSO 7326
Mark Hill
