Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

Following a spate of break-ins to sheds over the past week in the Stoneybank area of Musselburgh, we are asking everyone to please ensure you secure your shed, garage and outbuildings.

Valuable bikes and other items have been stolen from different addresses and we are enquiring into these reports.

If you do have valuable items in your shed, please consider a shed alarm which is inexpensive, can be bought online and easy to install.

As part of our Policing Commitments to tackle acquisitive crime we have purchased a number of shed alarms which we can supply and fit free of charge. These are for elderly and vulnerable residents who reside in the area and will form part of a crime prevention survey.

If you, or someone you know fits the criteria above please send details to;

and we will get back to you.
