Covid 19

Alert message sent 02/03/2021 17:50:00

Information sent on behalf of Staffordshire Police

As we continue to deal with the Pandemic, and we are all restricted in many ways. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, with vaccinations going well all over the UK. However, we ALL must continue to adhere to the restrictions, which in time will bring an earlier conclusion to this national crisis we have all faced.
It has been noticed that there has been a significant increase in people enjoying the warmer weather Where as in lockdowns 1 and 2 the Police were instructed to engage, explain, educate, we are now in the 3rd lockdown and the default position is to go straight to enforcement by way of issuing fixed penalty notices between £200 and £10,000 to persons who are deliberately and dangerously breaking the regulations, and we will issue such penalties where necessary without exemption. Please if your enjoying the warmer weather and out walking, please do so within the government rules. Stay safe.
