Request for help from Sussex Police - Billingshurst

Alert message sent 02/03/2021 15:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Billingshurst NHW Coordinators,

Following a Joint Action Group (JAG) meeting chaired by Sussex Police in Horsham last week, Neighbourhood Watch is asking all Members in Billingshurst to help tackle the issue of speeding / dangerous driving that has become more of an issue in recent weeks.

Could Billingshurst Coordinators please distribute the following message to all scheme members and the public in general (a message has already been sent to the Billingshurst Community Facebook page for publication).

1. Any incidences of speeding, and/or dangerous driving should be reported to the Police immediately, on 999 or 112.
2. If people can take note of vehicle registration numbers, this would help.
3. Any CCTV or dash-cam footage would also help.

The attached PDF guide gives guidance on all ways that Sussex Police can be contacted, i.e.. by telephone, email, text message or online reporting.

Many thanks.
