Road Safety Operations in Sandwell

Yesterday might night have been the sunniest day, but the rain has never stopped us!

Bright and early Monday morning our colleagues from Traffic Policing supported Sandwell on two road safety operations.

Both operations were a success and we have collected some of the highlights to share with you.

We look forward to be able to able to share with you further good news from even more road safety operations – watch this space!

1) 08.00-10.00 - All Saints Way - Op Zig/Zag (pedestrian reduction)

10 vehicles stopped
10 eyesight/breath tests/eye sight test with no offences
10 tyre checks with no offences
3 drivers reported / issued Traffic Offence Report
4 drivers educated/advised

2) 11.00-14.00 - Princess End, Tipton

12 vehicles stopped
12 eyesight/breath tests/eye sight test with no offences
12 tyre checks with no offences
4 Drivers reported / issued with Traffic Offence Reports
5 Drivers Educated / Advised
