Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 31 Jan 2021

Dear Surrey Heath members.
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (25 – 31 Jan 2021). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
28 Jan (12:00-13:00). Heathcote Road. Burglary of dwelling.
25 Jan (10:00) - 26 Jan (09:00). Bagshot Road. Resident woke up and found crowbar marks on front and back doors of home and that shed door was open. Nothing stolen and entry was not gained.
29 Jan (15:45-16:00). Worsley Road. Resident returned home to find front door of property has been damaged by the lock.

*Inc; vehicle failed to stop for police after being seen driving at speed, driver decamped and ran off (West End), theft of silver Ford Fiesta from driveway (Frimley Green), theft of grey VW Golf Plus (Camberley), owner discovered rock had been thrown through the rear side window of Ford Fiesta (Camberley).
**Inc; drugs warrant undertaken at address where a small quantity of herbal cannabis was found (Frimley), reports of smoking cannabis and possible drug dealing (Camberley), reports of strong smell of cannabis in communal area of accommodation (Camberley), male searched and found in possession of a small quantity of green herbal substance suspected cannabis (Frimley Green), male found in possession of small amount of herbal cannabis (West End).
***Inc; victim of bank/card fraud (Frimley), victim called by a male pretending to work for Amazon trying to take money from the victim (Deepcut), bank card fraud (Bisley).
****Horses have escaped and been found wandering in the road (Chobham).
*****Inc; vehicle failed to stop for police and been involved in RTC whereby driver has made off (Camberley).
******Inc; male had work done on his vehicle then deliberately driven away without paying (Bagshot), possible theft of mobile phone (Lightwater), PortaLoo stolen from building site overnight (Bagshot), parcel stolen from doorstep (Chobham), male entered a store and placed candles in jacket and left making no attempt to pay (Camberley), theft of parcel (Bagshot), vehicle made off after fuelling with no attempt to pay (Chobham).
As always, the local Neighbourhood Team are keen to receive information on all crime spotted or believed to have occurred as this can assist with ongoing enquiries, as well as helping to build up their wider intelligence picture.
