Alert message sent 13/01/2021 13:15:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

ARGYLL AND BUTE – COWAL – SHEEP WORRYING

Between 14th December 2020 and 2nd January 2021 around the Park Hill area between Blairmore and Ardentinny in Cowal, 5 sheep were injured and 10 are now missing. It is believed by the owner that his has been caused by a dog as dog walkers frequent that area.
Please remember that it is an offence for your dog to be “at large” in a field containing sheep, this simply means that if your dog is not on a lead or otherwise under control in an area with sheep you are committing an offence.

If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact 101 quoting incident number 1492 of 2nd January 2021 or crime reference number LB00090121. Investigating officer is PC Gladwell L534 of Dunoon
