Alert message sent 22/12/2020 12:33:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Depending on my availability over the coming holiday period this may be the last crime report for 2020. I hope that the reports over the last 12 months have been useful and provided a good overview of what’s happenings in the Borough.  I hope that everyone stays safe and well over the coming holiday period.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (14 - 21 Dec 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

  • 17 Dec (11:30 - 14:15). Matthews Road. After being away from the property for a few hours the owner returned to find multiple tool marks on doors and windows. No access was gained.
  • 11 Dec (14:07) - 20 Dec (14:07). Matthews Road.  Unknown persons have entered via UPVC side door after having jemmied the lock. An untidy search was carried out.
  • 16 Dec (15:30 - 17:40). Ansell Road.  Access gained via rear garden and forced rear kitchen door. An untidy search of the upstairs rooms carried out and a safe located/removed before leaving via rear of address. Bleach used by suspects to attempt to conceal any forensic evidence.
  • 18 Dec (00:15). The Cloisters. Garage outside of a block of flats has been broken into and items removed. Tidy search through the boxes and items within the garage. Strongbow cider and some camping equipment stolen.
  • 18 Dec (00:15). The Cloisters. External garage has been broken into and items searched through. Nothing appears to have been taken.
