Alert message sent 07/12/2020 21:56:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (30 Nov – 07 Dec 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

Bagshot
  • 03 Dec (19:40) – 06 Dec (11:06). Waverley Road. Unknown suspects have likely gained access to the property by attacking the bottom of the rear door to access key left in the lock. It appears they had also attempted to attack the front door and have left marks on the frame and door. After conducting an untidy search suspects have then left via the front door.

Camberley
  • 01 Dec (02:25). Watchetts Drive. Attempted shed burglary. Suspect (thought to be male, 5ft8”, mask, hoodie jacket, hat and trainers) seen on CCTV trying door handle and trying to lift shed roof.
  • 03 Dec (18:00) – 04 Dec (09:00). James Road. Garage broken into, nothing stolen but damage caused in the process. A fence panel to garden had been removed and he garden gate's padlock and lock for the garage have been broken and garage door wrenched open.
  • 03 Dec (19:34). Westfield Road. Attempted burglary. 2 males seen on doorbell camera trying door handle of the front door. Then believed they jumped the side gate and unlocked it. Suspects not seen again on the camera and so is believed they most likely entered the garden of one of the neighbouring properties.
