Good evening,

On behalf of APS Howkins I am emailing to give you all an update on the good work Sheldon Police Neighbourhood Team have been doing this shift set.

We have had 3 arrests for Modern day slavery and Domestic Abuse.
We have dealt with Road Traffic Collision on Church Road.
Recovered a stolen vehicle.
Continued to manage our offenders on our area.
We've completed a voluntary interview in regards to an on-going Criminal Damage matter.
We have located a Cannabis Factory and arranged an interview.

The team had an all out Covid enforcement day in company with South Yardley neighbourhood team where 54 direction to leave and 2 fixed penalty notices were issued.
The team have also arranged a speeding operation with Sheldon Traffic Action Group for next week so if you are out and about, please watch your speed !!

On a final note we forced entry to a elderly ladies property after a call from a concerned member of the public. Lady was found upstairs incapacitated and living in terrible conditions, WM Ambulance attended due to health concerns and referrals have been made to safe guard the lady. We will continue to do regular checks to ensure she is safe and well.
