Op Squirrel - Safe and Social Roads

Alert message sent 21/11/2020 19:08:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

Today we have been supporting our Special Constabulary colleagues as part of Operation Squirrel. Two cars have been seized. One for no insurance in Fairford and another in Moreton for no tax ( ran out in February 2020 )
The officers also supported an ambulance crew in Kempsford where an elderly lady fell over in the road. Thankfully she was not badly injured.

The team also conducted speed checks in Stow-on-the-Wold, A44 and Bourton-on-the-Hill. Cirencester was also covered by the team. This is part of the on-going campaign for "safe and Social Roads part of the PCC plan 2020-2022.

A very proactive and productive day!!

Many thanks
PC 2201 Nick Westmacott
