Theft from motor vehicle Sevington Close

Good Morning Citizen,

Firstly, I hope you are all ok.

Between 10:15 and 10:28, Monday 16th November 2020, a Theft from motor vehicle occurred with the Sevington Close area, Solihull. The vehicle was left momentarily open before the offender reached into the rear of such and stole items. It is believed this offender was approached by a witness to the theft and confronted, however, offender got back into their vehicle and left area.

It is believed that the offender was driving a green Peugeot with a young child in the passenger seat. Offender is mentioned to of been a white male, stocky build and wearing a grey hoodie.

Items taken from vehicle were:
-Top handled chainsaw
-Petrol leaf blower

Please, to further prevent potential crime, remain vigilant.
Keep vehicles locked at all times and windows fully secured, if you must park roadside and have no access to a driveway, attempt to park within reasonable view and distance.
If you do have access to a driveway for parking, a spotlight or CCTV system may help to deter potential criminal/suspicious activity.
