Gas Network Upgrade - Dunkeld

Alert message sent 13/11/2020 12:15:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

The following update safety message has been circulated on behalf of SGN

Following the proposed mains replacement work in Dunkeld, I’m writing to you with an update.

Having listened and taken on board the feedback given by local businesses we have decided to defer the work in Atholl Street for now. This will be re-planned for early in the new year and will help support the local traders in the run up to Christmas.

However, the second part of the project was on the Dunkeld Bridge itself. Due to safety reasons which of course has to be our top priority, we cannot delay this until the new year therefore we will begin work on the bridge on Monday 23 November for two weeks. During this time we will have temporary three-way traffic lights in operation.

We wish to assure you that our work will progress as quickly as possible and we’ll be doing everything we can to limit delays and disruption.
