Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 09 November 2020

Dear Surrey Heath members.
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (02 Nov – 09 Nov 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
08 Nov (18:00) – 09 Nov (19:30). South Road. Report of an attempt to gain entry through patio doors, although no entry gained.
03 Nov (12:10-12:15). Springfield road. Theft of 2 men’s mountain bikes from garage.
05 Nov (22:00) – 06 Nov (07:00). Russet Gardens. 2 metal sheds at rear of garden broken in to and various items stolen including bikes (later found), leaf blower, nail gun and other tools.
08 Nov (20:10). Buckhurst Road. Male has been seen on ring doorbell footage trying to open victim’s front door and also approaching neighbours door as well.
01 Nov (08:44) – 07 Nov (08:44). Coldharbour Lane. Attempted burglary - damage to front door of property - no entry gained.

ASB Nuisance (1), Burglary Business & Community (2*), Burglary Residential (5), Child Protection Incident (3), Concern For Safety (1), Coronavirus (16), Crime Other (7), Crime Public Order (1), Crime Vehicle (8**), Criminal Damage (3), Domestic Incident (7), Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme R2A (1), Drug Seizure (1), Drugs (1***), Drunk/Drug In Charge (2), DVPN (1), Family File (3), Fire (1****), Firearms – Non Notifiable Crime (1*****), Fraud Being Investigated (1), Fraud Vulnerable Victim (4), Master Occurrence (2), Missing Person – High Risk (1), Missing Person – Medium Risk (2), Neighbour Dispute (3), Not A Crime (1), Prescribed Limit Offence (2), Public Order (4), Sexual Offence (1), Stalking/Harassment (3), Street Intervention (1******), Sudden Death Non Suspicious (1), Suspicious Incident (5), Theft (18), Violent Crime Other (5), Violent Crime Public Place (4), Violent Domestic (5), Vulnerable Adult Incident (9).
*Inc; Key safe has been used to access a business premises and steal 15 second hand bicycles (Chobham), roof tiles of staff room removed in what is believed to be an attempt to gain entry (Camberley).
**Inc; Van parked on residential road broken into overnight and power tools stolen (Camberley), tools stolen from van whilst parked in car park (Bagshot), theft of Grey BMW 1 Series from parking bay (Camberley), vehicle parked on road entered and untidy search through glovebox and note left on seat (Camberley), forced entry to van and items removed whilst in car park of Premier Inn (Bagshot), criminal damage to vehicle including smashed front windscreen (West End).
***Cannabis and grinder seized (Chobham).
****Fire started deliberately in a wooden structure located behind Pets at Home (Bagshot).
*****Police drone has been fired upon four times by what was believed to be a shotgun (Chobham).
******Male seen begging in Camberley was spoken to by police officers including being given advice regarding attending the Hope Hub for help with housing etc (Camberley).
