Attempted burglary Lichfield Rd Four Oaks

Alert message sent 03/11/2020 11:17:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen.
An attempted burglary occurred in Lichfield Rd, Four Oaks between 12noon on Sunday the 1st of November, & 8.30pm on Monday the second of November '20.
Unknown offenders have used an unknown object to try to gain entry through a window.
The seal to the window has been damaged, no entry was gained and the offenders made good their escape.
Please ensure your property is secure, check access points like gates and fences , if these are secure and additional measures such as anti climbing paint are in place then it is harder for offenders to get to a window they can try to access.
If your property has an alarm please set it, also please use a timer switch or app based system to switch lights on and off after dark.
This helps make your property look occupied and so less attractive to burglars.
