Alert message sent 26/10/2020 15:18:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Afternoon Citizen,

Firstly, I hope you are well.

At some point between 19:00, Friday 23rd October 2020 and 11:00, Saturday 24th October 2020, a vehicle was broken into within the Huntley Drive area, Solihull. During this time, offender/s have gained access to the secured vehicle by a breaking small side window to passenger side of vehicle before stealing from within.
Fortunately, the vehicle itself remains in its owners possession.

Officers will be within the area today checking for any witnesses or CCTV potentially relating to this incident. However, if you have any information relating to this incident please contact us by either using West Midlands Live chat or call 101 and quote crime reference number 20SH/260661E/20.

Please, to further prevent potential crime, remain vigilant.
Keep vehicles locked at all times and windows fully secured, if you must park roadside and have no access to a driveway, attempt to park within reasonable view and distance.
If you do have access to a driveway for parking, a spotlight or CCTV system may help to deter potential criminal/suspicious activity.
Please keep all valuables or items of interest well out of sight.

For further information on advice and how to secure your vehicle please see link below:
