Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 26 October 2020

Dear Surrey Heath members.
 
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (19 Oct – 26 Oct 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
 
Deepcut
  • 21 Oct (20:30) -22 Oct (12:35). Swordsmans Road. Laptop and TV stolen.
 
To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team, there were 135 new incidents/occurrences being looked into during this period. A summary of these is given below along with some accompanying notes later;
 
Absconder/AWOL/Wanted (1), ASB Personal (1), Burglary Residential (1), Burglary Business & Community (2*), Child Protection Incident (10),  Concern For Safety (2), Coronavirus (7**), Crime Other (4), Crime Public Order (2***), Crime Vehicle (6****), Criminal Damage (6), Domestic Incident (15), Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme R2A (1), Drugs (6), Drunk/Drug In Charge (1), DVPO (1), Family File (1), Fraud referred to action Fraud (1), Fraud Vulnerable Victim (2), Hate/Diversity Incident (1), Immigration (1), Master Occurrence (2), Mental Health (1), Missing Person – High Risk (2), Neighbour Dispute (2), Not A Crime (1), Public Order (2), Robbery (1*****), Stalking Protection Order (1), Stalking/Harassment (6), Sudden Death Non Suspicious (1), Theft (13), Violent Crime Other (7), Violent Crime Public Place (11), Violent Domestic (4), Vulnerable Adult Incident (6), Wildlife (1******).
 
Notes:
*Inc: Suspects have gained entry to garage at golf course and stolen a quad bike, power gardening tools and attempted to steal a tractor (Camberley), suspect(s) gained entry to Cricket Club and carried out a tidy search of the kitchen area, bar area and beer cellar taking cash, Amazon Fire Stick and a laptop (Frimley).  
**Inc: Member of public in breach of covid rules after positive test (Camberley), a number of reports of groups of youths breaking the Covid rule of 6 (West End), report of pub opening later than Covid rules allow (Frimley), reports of staff not adhering to Coronavirus rules within a store (Camberley), report of a person who allegedly tested positive for Coronavirus posting in social media that they were having a meal at a restaurant in Camberley.
***Inc: Road rage incident (Chobham), child has been walking past an address when occupant has come out and been verbally abusive and threatening (Frimley).
****Inc: Van broken in to overnight in hotel car park and tools taken (Bagshot), Ford Tansit broken into via its side door whilst in hotel car park – nothing stolen (Bagshot), white Ford Transit van broken into in a golf club car park – tower PC and screen/ bag of hand tools/electric drill and spare battery taken (Bagshot), doorbell footage has seen male attempting car doors of 2 different houses (Frimley), attempted theft of moped from home address (Chobham).
***** 4 Unknown males have approached victim, assaulted him and stolen his mobile phone and watch (Camberley).
****** Location in Bagshot was discovered that was thought to be an area used for cock fighting. Two cockerels found on site were seized and removed with the assistance of rural crime officer.
 
As always, the local neighbourhood team are keen to receive information on all crime spotted or believed to have occurred as this can assist with ongoing enquiries, as well as helping to build up their wider intelligence picture.
