A mobile testing centre for coronavirus will be operating in Fallin and Cowie today from 10am until 5pm.

There is evidence of spread in the local community and infections have also affected schools.

The walk-in unit will be situated in Cowie and Fallin in the following areas:

Cowie - Cowie Community Centre (car park), Manse Park, Main Street, Cowie, FK7 7BL

If you live in the local community, you don’t need to show any of the three key symptoms to request a test.

Appointments can be booked via the NHS Inform website: https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19/test-and-protect/coronavirus-covid-19-testing

We would like to encourage as many people as possible to get tested. Could you please wear a mask or face covering and observe the rules on social distancing, that is two metres (6ft) apart.

Carers who visit homes in the village are also welcome to be tested. Thank you for your co-operation.

If you require more information on any of this, please call Stirling Council’s Contact Centre – 01786 404040.
