Information sent on behalf of South Yorkshire Police

The EAGLE-eyed Parson Cross Team had a TEE-rific time yesterday seizing these two uninsured VW Golfs.

The 26 year old DRIVER of the first Golf is in for a ROUGH day in court where he will be dealt with for driving with no insurance and no licence in due COURSE.

The second Golf was stopped on Herries Road a FAIRWAY from home. The 32 year old occupant claimed to have full insurance and licence but after IRONing out some enquiries, it became apPARent to officers that this was not the case. The car was PUTT on the back of a lorry and the driver will be in a HOLE load of trouble when her court date arrives.

The team also had a bit of a GIMME when they seized an abandoned black Vauxhall after the driver had done a BUNK(ER). Unfortunately it was an Astra Life rather than an Astra CLUB and it didn't really fit in with the bad golf pun theme, so we'll CHIP now beFORE we get carried away.
