National Hate Crime Awareness Week 12th October - 16th October

Thank you to everyone who came to visit our Neighbourhood Van outside the Shops on Throstle Lane between 1700 and 1900hrs this evening.

Our NPT South Ward officers PC's Wainwright, Ahmed, PCSO's Smith and Woodward with our new NPT Sergeant Bentley who takes over the lead for the Middleton area were joined by Jess Dewhurst from Leeds Communities for this event.

A leaflet drop was conducted on Throstle Lane, Throstle Street, Throstle Hill, Throstle Place, Sissons Road and James Court. All shops on Throstle Lane and Middleton Park Circus were given a Hate Crime poster to display. Leaflets were handed out to the footfall in the area, nobody came forward to discuss any concerns.
