Van broken into Willmott Rd Four Oaks

Alert message sent 09/10/2020 09:37:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen.
A van was broken into whilst parked and unattended on the driveway of a residential property in Willmott Rd , Four Oaks at 3.30am on Thursday the 8th of October'20.
Tools were stolen , and the offenders made good their escape.
We would always recommend removing items of value from parked vehicles.
Tools are needed in vans for the drivers business, again at times when the vehicle is not in use We would recommend these are removed and secured indoors.
For instances when this is not an option standard van security can be boosted by the fitting of upgraded dead locks, slam locks and lockable tool boxes.
If your vehicle has an alarm fitted please set it , if it does not then  consider retro fitting such a system.
Searching Van security on line will provide you with lots of information on the security options available to help keep your van and it's contents safe.
More information can also be found at : www.securedbydesign.com
