Alert message sent 05/10/2020 20:26:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (28 Sept – 05 Oct 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below along with notes on several of these.

Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

  • 02 Oct (18:00-20:00). Bain Avenue. Forced entry to rear door. Person(s) have conducted an untidy search in a number of rooms and the loft, taking jewellery.

  • 02 Oct (21:26). Windlesham Road. Suspects have broken into a building site, stolen a Thwaites dumper and damaged the gate/fencing around it.

  • 01 Oct (12:30) - 03 Oct (17:00). Melville Avenue. House entered via a window. Unknown if a burglary has occurred/anything taken.

  • 02 Oct (10:00-12:30). Catena Rise. A ladder has been dragged from the bottom of the garden and used to allow someone to put there arm through a small downstairs tilted window and open a larger one. The offenders have then been able to climb through the window and access the house. An untidy search was conducted throughout the house and a number of items stolen (jewellery, watch and car key).
  • 02 Oct (19:30-20:30). Wittmead Road.  Burglary where unknown person(s) have entered the property by breaking the lock on the side gate and by smashing the rear window of the patio doors. The house has then been searched in a messy fashion, including the loft, luggage and master bedroom but no electrical or high value items have been taken.
