Bordesley Green NHT weekly update

Alert message sent 03/10/2020 11:13:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Hello Residents,

I just thought I would send you all a quick update with what your Bordesley Green NHT have been up to over the last week or so.

It's  certainly been an eventful few weeks, on Friday 18th September we were accompanied by Small Heath Councillor Safia Akhtar and MP Liam Byrne where we carried out patrols along the Coventry Road, it was great to engage with local residents and businesses, where they all had opportunity to make the Councillor and MP aware of issues and how we can solve them.

The Councillor and MP have further outings planned with the team where we are raisi g community concerns with them.

On the proactive side of things we have listened to the local community and executed a warrant at an address where class A drugs were found, so Thank you for talking to us.
We have also carried out pro active patrols in the Green Lane area following an incident last week on Denbeigh Street.

Good news for those residents wanting to get involved with a community speedwatch, our team are now fully trained up to supervise our local residents who want to take part.
If you would be interested in this please let us know via email or reply to This message.

During our patrols I have been pleased to see that the vast majority of Bordesley Green are
Abiding by the Governments Covid legislation, please keep this up, and help the nation to beat this virus.

That's all From me for now, take care.

Sgt Marc Paxton
