Image released as part of dog bite investigation at a Chesterfield park

We are releasing an image of two women we would like to trace in connection with an alleged incident where a dog has bitten a child at a park in Chesterfield.

A six year old boy was playing in the play area at Holmebrook Valley Park at around 8pm on Wednesday 12 August when a dog ran up to the boy and has allegedly bitten him on the leg.

The boy attended hospital as a precaution as he suffered minor cuts to his leg.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to the women in the image as they may have information which could help with their inquiries?
