Burglary reported in Oakenhayes Crescent Minworth

Dear Citizen.
A burglary occurred in Oakenhayes Crescent , Minworth between 9pm on Sunday the 13th of September, & 9am on Monday the 14th.
Between the stated times unknown offenders have gained access to the rear garden of a property.
They have then approached the garden shed, forced off the padlock entered , and stole power, and garden tools.
The offenders have then made good their escape with the stolen items.
This is another instance of offenders targetting the rear of a property to gain entry to a garden, and in this case a shed.
Please check that the access points to the rear of your property are secure , lock gates and check fences are secure.
Simple measures such as the use of anti climbing paint and prickle Strip can help make fences and gates more secure against unwanted entry.
If used please place the warning signs provided.
Motion sensors and security lighting are other measures to be considered to help secure the paths, garden ,and drive ways of properties .
Sheds need to be secure, in this case a padlock was fitted , other measures to consider include the use of a shed alarm and or locking bars.
