Suspicious white van

Alert message sent 11/09/2020 14:10:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

We have received a report of a white van acting suspiciously in the Berry Hill area. Two males were spotted leaning over a wall trying to pet a dog. A distinctive logo on the back of the van "no tools left overnight". Police are asking for people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity via 101.

Please remember:
Never leave your pet in the garden unattended.
Look into purchasing driveway alarms that alert you of any intruders or securing your gates with bolts at the top and bottom, along with heavy-duty padlock and gate alarms.
Avoid leaving your dog tied up outside a shop or left alone in a car, even for a few minutes.
Make sure your dog is microchipped and their details are updated so that they can be returned if they are stolen or subsequently found.
