We have received a report of a white van acting suspiciously in the Whitecroft area. On 8th September 2020 at approximately 15.09hours a male pulled up alongside a vehicle is a white van (no further details) the male then proceeded to open the gate to the property and ask the owner about a used car battery that was just in view. The male then started asking about the dogs at the address and tried petting them.

We are asking everyone to remain vigilant and take down as many details of these suspicious incidents as possible for reporting.

Please remember:
Never leave your pet in the garden unattended.
Look into purchasing driveway alarms that alert you of any intruders or securing your gates with bolts at the top and bottom, along with heavy-duty padlock and gate alarms.
Avoid leaving your dog tied up outside a shop or left alone in a car, even for a few minutes.
Make sure your dog is microchipped and their details are updated so that they can be returned if they are stolen or subsequently found.
