Alert message sent 05/09/2020 10:49:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Morning,

Some positive news to report from this week:

On Wednesday 2nd September officers were following a black Honda Civic in the Selly Oak area, as it had been used in a bilking (theft of fuel) previously and had also failed to stop for officers earlier in the day. The vehicle again failed to stop for officers, and a stinger device was deployed on Umberslade Road. The male driver was arrested from the vehicle for a number of offences, and was taken into custody. The offences included Dangerous Driving, Theft, Failure to Stop and Bilking.
